Review of Radisson Blu Hotel, Zurich Airport, Switzerland
Convenient, well-appointed and good (pricey) grill restaurant:
This hotel is just perfect in the case of having to catch an early flight as we (family with one teen) had to do. It is directly linked to the terminal so it is very convenient for passengers.
The wine tower located in the hotel lobby where dance performances take place is quite impressive and certainly an eye-catcher.
We had a standard room which is generously sized and accommodates 3 persons. It is contemporarily furnished and has a rather spacious although not very functional bathroom (shower is not sufficiently separated from the bathroom so floods may occur). Employees at the reception were very courteous and helpful.
We didn’t have any breakfast but free coffee, tea, water and cereals bars were offered. However, we had dinner at Angels’ Wine Tower Grill which was very good although prices are rather exorbitant. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the evening in this restaurant and by the way the sauces are really delectable and worthwhile ordering (side order).
All in all, the Radisson Blu Hotel can be recommended as a stopover in Zurich.
