Splendid B&B in wonderful surroundings:

We (family with a teen) are not travelers staying very often at a B&B. Actually, RoseMary Inn was only our second one. Yet this B&B is really worth going to as it can rival many (luxury) hotels we know of.

This B&B was opened about two years ago (before it was an old farmhouse). For the renovation only the best material was used. Five superb rooms – each decorated differently – and a very pleasant recreation area resulted from this undertaking. Among other spaces, there was a self-service pantry with coffee, tea, soft drinks and snacks. And freshly baked cookies in late afternoon were also part of the package.

RoseMary Inn is located in a rural and secluded area. On the grounds of the B&B you find a restful pond with a fountain, which is very nice to look at. The hosts of this charming B&B – Elaine and Theo – are very warm and happy to be at your service.

Our room was called “Bender”, the only one where an extra bed could be added. It was large and tastefully decorated. And it featured a comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom including a nice steam shower and a view of the pond. 

In the morning, Elaine and Theo served a sumptuous and plentiful breakfast. It changed daily and really was a treat.

When you are looking for a fine, comfortable and quiet accommodation in the countryside near New York City (one and a half hours away), this is the perfect place to go!
