Review of George Washington Inn, Port Angeles WA, USA
Comfortable B&B in nice surrounding:
Our family of three chose this lovely situated Bed and Breakfast for our two days’ stay destined for hiking in the Olympic National Park.
The inn is located between Port Angeles and Sequim offering splendid views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca on the one side and of a lavender farm
as well as of Olympic Mountains on the other.
The name of this Bed and Breakfast hasn’t been given by chance. That is to say that the house and its situation is a replica of the original George Washington’s Mount Vernon!
There are five suites in this inn. We had the Martha’s Suite which is located on the main floor and provides bedding for a third person. The room offers enough space for three persons, is well-equipped and has a spacious bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower. The hosts – Janet and Dan – are accommodating and makes sure that you feel at ease. The three-course-breakfast served in the back-porch with nice view of the sea is delicious.
If you are looking for comfortable housing when visiting Olympic National Park, this is your choice!
Date of stay: July 2013
