The stay at the fabulous Brewery Gulch Inn was one of the highlights of a trip along the Oregon and Northern Californian Coast. My family only had only one night here. And we did not want to miss their acclaimed wine and light dinner buffet hour. So we had to rush to be here on time, but it was worth the effort! You get here tasty and healthy dishes from a buffet accompanied by a glass of good wine.

The inn is located near the cute town of Mendocino in a remote spot overlooking the Pacific ocean. It offers dramatic views of the water and spectacular sunsets from its common room and many of its guest rooms.



Out of the 12 rooms, the three of us opted for the Meadowview Suite. This accommodation is the most spacious one and features a king and a queen bed. It is nicely decorated and features a convenient couch with two comfortable leather club chairs. Furthermore, you find here also a nice fireplace with a large TV above it too. It is the perfect place to watch a DVD from the inn’s comprehensive collection. As we had an early dinner, we did so. When it comes to breakfast, it is just as good as the dinner. The dishes are cooked to order, and freshly squeezed orange is available too, lovely! They serve the breakfast in the central common room boasting a beautiful fireplace and these wonderful views.



The staff here is very welcoming and eager to please. Staying at this great inn was really a memorable experience. Having said that you have to be aware that lodging here is quite pricey. Yet it definitely is worth the money. We would go back in a heartbeat!
