Review of North Block Hotel, Yountville CA, USA

For our stay in Napa Valley we chose Yountville as this small town is not only charming but offers a lot of high end restaurants. As a hotel we went for the North Block Hotel at the one end of this town where anything is in walking distance and – as it seems – pricey, including our hotel.

We decided to stay in the most spacious room, the Premier King Fireplace as we are a family of three. Whereas the nicely appointed room was not overly large, the bathroom was it. There were an oversized soaking tub, an additional shower, a separate toilet, double sinks and lots of empty room. As an extra, there was a large personal patio which was nice for having a drink or so. All the rooms – I think there are twenty of them – are situated around a courtyard, the grounds were nice to look at, with many green, a well and nice spots. Everything is clean, chic and well-maintained, we felt very comfortable at North Block. Service was great and very friendly. We were offered a glass of Prosecco or wine upon arrival and also got a coupon for a complimentary wine tasting at a nearby winery which was well-appreciated.
